LYOPHILIZATION
QBI currently has 5 lyophilizers with plans to aquire two more in the next few months.
Our twin Hull lyophilizers have 72 and 84 sq ft, both with ~100L condensor capacity. Both have backfill and stoppering capabilities and are well suited for serum vials up to 50 mls as well as bulk tray drying. When necessary both can be controlled by a single programer to produce a total shelf space of 156 sq ft.
Our pilot scale Hull 3 lyophilizer with 24 square foot of shelf area and a 40 L condenser capacity. Also fitted with stoppering and back-fill capabilities, the Virtis is ideal for small-scale drying and pilot runs.
QBI has two lyphilizers, a Hull 7 and a Hull 8, each have 220 square foot shelf area and a 300 Liter condenser capacity .
