70-DAY SCHEDULE

Accelerated protocol for antibody production using Freund's adjuvant:

Day 0:     Test Bleed, Sub-cutaneous (SC) Injection
Day 7:     SC Injection
Day14:    SC Injection
Day 28:   SC Injection
Day 42:    Production Bleed (or Test Bleed and egg collection for chickens )
Day 56:    SC Injection
Day 70:    Production Bleed

The project can be extended considerably based on the maintenance of high antibody titer and the customer's requirement for additional antibodies. If the project is to continue, the injections will be administered every 28 days beginning on Day 84 with test bleeds 14 days following each injection (ex. Day 98).

Chickens will lay one egg per day for 9 days, rest one day, and repeat the cycle. However this cycle is variable. Assuming high antibody titers on day 42, this program will provide ~25 eggs and ~250 mg of specific antibody per chicken.
